Position Overview We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Acupuncturist to join our growing team on a full-time basis . This role is ideal for a clinician who values holistic wellness, patient education, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment & Treatment : Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles.
Acupuncture & TCM Care : Provide high-quality acupuncture treatments to address pain, injuries, and overall wellness goals.
Patient Education : Educate clients on acupuncture, complementary therapies, and lifestyle modifications to optimize treatment outcomes.
Collaborative Care : Work closely with physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
Documentation : Maintain accurate, timely, and professional patient records and progress notes.
Professional Development : Stay current with industry best practices through ongoing education and training.
Additional TCM Modalities : Provide cupping, moxibustion, herbal remedies, or other TCM therapies where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills
Registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) (Active R.Ac or R.TCMP license required)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Experience with cupping, moxibustion, or herbal medicine is an asset
Must carry personal malpractice insurance
