Duties
Rehabilitation Assistant supporting Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy scopes of practice within a patient/client/resident centred care model. Responsibilities include implementing lower risk interventions, teaching activities, adapting devices, providing functional direction, and maintaining equipment inventory.
Hard requirements
- Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to deal with others effectively
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Ability to organize work
- Ability to operate related equipment
- Successful completion of a Criminal Records Review Check
