Duties
Occupational Therapist providing patient/client-centered assessments, planning, and implementation of occupational therapy services to enable optimal health outcomes within an interdisciplinary team at Richmond Hospital.
Hard requirements
  • Current full registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
  • Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
  • Broad knowledge of Occupational Therapy theory, practice, and CHCPBC standards.
  • Basic knowledge of evidence-based clinical practice, standardized tests, and research methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach clients, problem-solve, work independently and collaboratively, and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated skill in OT techniques, equipment use, and computerized client care information systems.
  • Demonstrated physical ability to perform duties and report past receipt of certain vaccines or history of infections.

  • Standard Hours / Week: 37.50.
  • Shift Times: 0800-1600.
  • Days Off: Saturday, Stats, Sunday.
