Duties
The Staff Physical Therapist treats assigned patients and directs, guides, and evaluates physical therapy students.
Hard requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT)
- Initiative & judgment to plan implement/modify treatment programs for clients
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others as required
- Requires concentration and attention for treatment, teaching and report writing
- Ability to plan, organize & prioritize work in collaboration with others
- Requires coping skills to work w/clients dealing with stress/psychosocial issues
- Ability to integrate ideas into a team treatment approach
- Ability and flexibility in adapting to changing situations and environments
- Creative problem solving in an open and resourceful manner
- Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately
Pay & benefits
- Pay Band Physical Therapist - Degree $40.187 to $49.255
- May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives
Work format
- Full-time temporary
- Days, Weekends, Standby
- 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks
