Job description
As a Health Care Technician (HCT), you provide direct hands-on care to patients in their homes under the guidance of a Directing Registered Nurse. You assist with activities of daily living, medication administration, and care planning for patients of all ages.
Hard requirements
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification or Developmental Support Worker (DSW) certification
- One to two years' experience as a PSW
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Fundamentals of Palliative Care- Level I (or commitment to complete within one year)
- Valid driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance, and personal vehicle
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
