Duties
Painters prepare, clean, and sand surfaces, repair cracks, mix paint, apply wallpaper and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, erect scaffolding, estimate costs, and advise consumers on colors.
Hard requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year experience
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Physically demanding capability
- Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling
- Steel-toed safety boots
Pay & benefits
- $20–$22/hr
