Job description
Performs skilled repair, maintenance, and refurbishment work on NL Housing residential units. Prepares vacant units for occupancy and handles minor construction, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
Hard requirements
- Completion of a Carpentry, Painting and Decorating, or Renovation Technician program (equivalencies may be considered)
- Experience in residential plastering and painting
- Experience in residential carpentry, maintenance, or construction
- Experience in basic plumbing
- Knowledge of the National Building Code is considered an asset
Pay & benefits
- Salary Scale: $52,062 to $57,616 per annum (CG-26, $25.03 to $27.70per hour)
- Labrador Allowance: with dependent $8,939, without $4,529
- Travel Allowance: $1,425 for employee and $1,053 per dependent
