Duties
Install and repair roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, metal, and single-ply membranes, while reading blueprints and instructing apprentices. This green job contributes to positive environmental outcomes and Canada's net-zero target.
Hard requirements
- Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year experience
- Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
- Roofer Trade Certification
- Working at heights training
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- WHMIS Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
- Valid driver's licence
Pay & benefits
- $23–$28/hr
Work format
- On site work with no remote option
- Various locations, including residential sites
- Willing to relocate and travel
