personal support aide - medical
Job description
Provide direct patient care in a nursing home, including bathing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs. Maintain patient safety and room hygiene while assisting with mobility and daily activities.
Hard requirements
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Criminal record check
- Tuberculosis test
- Own transportation
- Ability to handle up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Physical capability for standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player
Pay & benefits
