optometric assistant
Job description
Vision Care Woodward seeks a dynamic, cross-trained team member to work across optical gallery, pre-testing, and contact lens services. The role involves helping patients select eyewear, performing diagnostic testing, and providing clinical support in a busy clinic environment.
Hard requirements
- Friendly, approachable, and passionate about patient care with strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities and reliability
- Comfortable learning hands-on skills including pre-testing and contact lens training
- Interested in both optical and clinical sides of optometry, fashion, and styling
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Ottawa, ON K2C 0P7 (required)
