Job description
Home Support Workers assist individuals affected by HIV to remain living independently by providing personal support, end of life care, and assistance with life skills in a supportive environment. They drive clients to appointments, document client information, and participate in team meetings and case conferences.
Hard requirements
- Degree or diploma in personal care or social services from a recognized Ontario institution
- Valid Ontario Full G driver's license
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle with verifiable driving and insurance experience in Ontario
- Satisfactory driver's abstract upon successful interview
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check upon offer
- Written/oral and computer skills
- Ability to show initiative and work independently
Pay & benefits
- $22.64 to $25.30 per hour
- Plus $3 per hour for any direct service hours
