Job description
Weeneebayko Area Health Authority seeks a Laundry Aide to provide laundry services and operate washing equipment to ensure clean, sanitary linen in a healthcare facility. The role involves performing cleaning tasks and maintaining safe working conditions within the laundry area.
Hard requirements
- Successful completion of secondary school, equivalency or experience
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Motivated professional who can work with minimal supervision
- Reliable, personable and courteous
- Certification in WHIMIS or willingness to obtain
- Job related experience in health care facility is an asset
- Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language is an asset
Pay & benefits
- Salary: $25.12/per hour
