General duty radiology technologist
Job description
The General Duty Medical Radiology Technologist performs assigned Diagnostic duties under the supervision of the Charge Medical Technologist, providing direct patient care and technical support within a multi-disciplinary team. A cross-trained general duty technologist or CLXT may also be considered for this position at Tiger Hills Health Centre in Treherne.
Hard requirements
- Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Must maintain active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Proficiency in Windows computer environment and Microsoft Office programs preferred.
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills in English; French may be required.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member, follow instructions precisely, and work under pressure.
- Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.

- Salary ranges from $40.367 to $50.642.

Work format
- Employment Type: Term position ending 05/07/2028 due to Maternity Leave, though it may end earlier per collective agreement.
- Schedule: Days; Weekends; Standby coverage as required.
- Daily Hours Worked: 7.75 hours.
- Annual Base Hours: 2015 hours.
- FTE: 1.00.
- Location Type: In Person at Shared Health - Tiger Hills Health Centre (Treherne); travel to Glenboro may be required.
