Job description
The Laboratory Technician provides basic technical support, preparation, and analysis within the Biopharmaceutical Chemistry Testing Laboratory. The role involves sample preparation, documentation, and instrument operation in a deadline-based environment.
Hard requirements
- B.Sc. degree in Chemistry or diploma in related field; solid background in Chemistry is mandatory
- 1-3 years working with wet chemistry techniques; experience with pharmaceuticals preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work under GMP and GLP guidelines and familiarity with USP and pharmaceutical testing
- Excellent organizational skills, strong verbal/written communication, and high accuracy
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
- Must be able to stand for greater than 50% of the time and lift no more than 20 lbs
