Job description
Performs general and vascular ultrasound procedures and maintains high image quality in the department. May work on the floor as needed based on departmental needs.
Hard requirements
- Member in good standing of Sonography Canada
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Successful completion of certification programs for functions specific to the unit, within set timeframe
- Bilingual essential
- Good judgement and communication
- Proven ability to organize and manage assigned workload
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Physical ability to perform the assigned work
- Good work history (performance and attendance)
- Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network
Pay & benefits
- $38–$48/hr
Work format
- Permanent part-time
- Day, Weekend, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts
- Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs
