Anesthesia assistant
Job description
Anesthesia Assistant at Vernon Jubilee Hospital Operating Room assisting Anesthesiologists with patient preparation, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recovery.
Hard requirements
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate Anesthesia Assistant diploma program
- Current certified clinical anesthesia assistant (CCAA)
- Registered or associate member in good standing with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapy (CSRT)
- Eligible for membership in the Canadian Anesthesia Society (CAS) and BC Society of Anesthesia Assistants (BCSAA)
- Current certificates in CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Pay & benefits
- Rate of pay per April 10, 2026 wage schedule is $44.85 to $55.89
