Job description
The dietitian provides public health nutrition services and expertise in planning health promotion and disease prevention activities within a multidisciplinary team. The role involves creating partnerships, collaborating on community development, and supporting various Public Health programs such as "Healthy Families, Healthy Babies" and the Special Foods Program.
Hard requirements
  • Member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Dieticians
  • Bilingual essential
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
  • Ability to travel within Vitalité Health Network and the province
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work
  • Good organizational skills, computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Sound judgment, leadership, initiative, creativity, and ability to adapt to change
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles and confidentiality rules
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a dietitian (asset)
Pay & benefits
  • $36–$47/hr

  • Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts
  • Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs
