Job description
The dietitian provides public health nutrition services and expertise in planning health promotion and disease prevention activities within a multidisciplinary team. The role involves creating partnerships, collaborating on community development, and supporting various Public Health programs such as "Healthy Families, Healthy Babies" and the Special Foods Program.
Hard requirements
- Member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Dieticians
- Bilingual essential
- Valid driver's licence
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Ability to travel within Vitalité Health Network and the province
- Physical ability to perform the assigned work
- Good organizational skills, computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Sound judgment, leadership, initiative, creativity, and ability to adapt to change
- Adherence to professional ethical principles and confidentiality rules
- Minimum of two years' experience as a dietitian (asset)
Pay & benefits
- $36–$47/hr
Work format
- Permanent full-time
- Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts
- Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs
