advanced care paramedic
Job description
The Advanced Care Paramedic performs independent advanced medical care and intervention to patients at pre-hospital scene settings, including operating ambulances, conducting physical examinations, and performing comprehensive assessments. This position reports directly to Operations Supervisors and works with considerable independence.
Hard requirements
- Completion of an Accredited Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) Program from Canadian Medical Association is required
- Current registration with the Provincial Medical Oversight Program as an ACP at the time of commencing employment
- Possession of a valid Class 4 Driver?s License as issued by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador
- Experience as an ACP is required, with a minimum two years preferred
- Pre-employment Physical Capabilities test and medical is required
Pay & benefits
- CG-37 ($39.16 to $46.27 per hour) which includes a negotiated wage adjustment
- Signing bonus up to $14,000
