Job description
Certified Diagnostic Medical Sonographers join an experienced team in London, Ontario, supporting continuous education and high-quality community medical imaging practice while serving as clinical sites for ultrasound students.
Hard requirements
- Current member in good standing with Sonography Canada and CMRITO registrations; ARDMS considered
- Graduate of Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Ultrasound Program from a College of Applied Arts and Technology or University
- Generalist sonographer with proficiency in general sonography (abdomen, pelvis, vascular, obstetrics)
- Interest in obstetrical/gynecological imaging and vascular ultrasound considered an asset; 1 year recent experience preferred but new grads welcome
- Strong computer skills in RIS PACS
- Sound organizational/prioritization skills, ability to work well independently and in stressful situations
- Keen interest in ongoing CME education and eagerness to learn new ultrasound skills/subspecialties
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Demonstrated pattern of good attendance and ability to perform essential duties
- Provide vaccination records/proof of immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Polio, Meningitis; Tuberculosis skin testing (two step); and Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination
