Job description
Responsible for management and operational leadership of pharmacy services across Labrador Grenfell sites, including resource use, quality of services, financial management, and human resources.
Hard requirements
- Graduation from an approved School of Pharmacy is required.
- Current registration/licensure with the Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board.
- A minimum of five (5) years? experience within the last seven (7) in a hospital pharmacy environment with experience with managing projects of a complex nature.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities related to the pharmaceutical supply chain, clinical therapeutics, technology and informatics management, in healthcare settings).
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and direct continuous improvement and quality processes.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills focused on supporting and empowering members of the team.
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills and innovation in problem solving and decision making.
- Demonstrated strong conflict management skills.
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence and initiative.
- Ability to manage change and continuous improvement.
- A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
Pay & benefits
- Salary: HL22 ($42.05 - $54.66 per hour) Plus Labrador Allowance if applicable
Work format
- Temporary Full-time
- 70 Hours Bi-weekly, Monday to Friday (8 hours; Days)
- Location: Labrador Health Centre
