Regulatory amendments coming into force May 30

Please note that amendments to Ontario Regulation 421/17 under the Ontario Immigration Act take effect May 30. The changes were announced in a program update on March 16 and can be found on Ontario’s e-Laws . The updates prepare for the redesign of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program ( OINP ). Please stay tuned to the program updates page for any further announcements.

All applications received under the existing OINP framework will be assessed in accordance with the eligibility requirements in place at the time of application.
