QNX Embedded Development Manager (Open Source)
Job description
Shape how open-source runs on QNX's real-time operating system through deep technical contribution and leadership. You will port open-source projects, design integration layers, upstream changes, and mentor a team of engineers.
Hard requirements
- Significant progressive embedded software experience including technical leadership/mentorship
- Strong skills in C/C++ for embedded systems development and hands-on RTOS development (QNX, Linux, or similar)
- Proven contributions to large open-source projects
- Deep understanding of embedded systems, hardware architectures, and cross-compilation tool chains
- Proficiency with Git, GDB, GCC, Make/CMake
- Familiarity with open-source licensing models & best practices relating to community engagement
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team
Pay & benefits
- $108,750.00 - $158,750.00 base salary range
