We are now seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our professional team.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Licensing & Certification: Valid Cosmetology / Hairstyling Certification/License recognized in British Columbia.
Professional
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of proven experience working as a hairstylist in a fast-paced or high-end salon setting.
Advanced Colorimetry Skills: Full mastery of modern coloring techniques (Balayage, Babylights, complex color corrections, and custom toning).
Cutting & Styling Expertise: Proficiency in a wide range of women?s cuts (classic and current trends), along with blowouts, styling, and long-lasting finishing techniques.
Hair Treatments: Hands-on experience performing hair diagnostics, deep conditioning, restorative treatments, and smoothing/aligning procedures.
Client Consultation: Strong ability to conduct thorough client consultations, manage expectations, and effectively recommend professional home-care products.
Language & Communication: Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication skills for professional client and team interaction.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage appointments efficiently while keeping the workspace clean and sanitized.
Professional Mindset: Team player with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a customer-first approach.
Nice-to-Haves (Assets)
Existing clientele in the New Westminster, Burnaby, or Coquitlam area.
Certification and experience in hair extensions application and maintenance.
Active social media portfolio (Instagram/TikTok) showcasing before-and-after work.
