A comprehensive benefits package, including life insurance, extended health care, dental care and vision care Under the supervision of the Distribution Manager, the Warehouse Associate will assume a variety of responsibilities to ensure the safe and efficient movement of inventory within the Distribution Centre.
Key Responsibilities
Unloads and moves products and materials by using material handling equipment, ensuring efficient turnaround times
Picks customer orders accurately as per RF Gun list and/or manual ordering system ensuring productivity standards are achieved
Prepares shipments and documents shipments using in house software
Verifies goods and compare orders with packing slips and purchase orders
Assists the Distribution Manager with receiving documentation and paperwork as required
Loads and unloads truck, stocks shelves with products and materials
Performs general warehouse duties, as required The successful candidate must have and demonstrate the following:
A positive attitude and good work ethic
Ability to lift up to 75lb
Ability to bend/crouch, climb stairs, and safely use ladders in order to retrieve materials and products
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team
Computer, typing, and data entry skills are a strong asset
Proficiency in shipping and inventory software, databases and systems
Knowledge of basic Microsoft applications, i.e.
Word, Excel, etc.
Familiar with RF scanning technology
