Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our dynamic warehouse team.

Responsibilities
Receive inbound shipments by unloading trucks using equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documents, inspecting for damages or discrepancies
Accurately record receipt details and update inventory records in systems -Odoo
Prepare items for storage by labelling, packaging, and organizing stock within designated warehouse areas
Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to coordinate load & unload activities efficiently and safely
Assist with order picking and fulfillment processes to support timely shipment of customer orders, including e-commerce orders
Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety regulations and company policies
Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
Unload packages from incoming trucks
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.)
Contact the supplier or the shipper if a mistake is identified
Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
Ensure invoices are signed for satisfactory deliveries
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control; strictly follow the company's policies, regulations, and work disciplines
Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other safety regulations
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
Assist with picking orders for walk-in customers
Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of warehouse distribution processes
Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers safely; certification is preferred but not required
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP systems
Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and inventory control
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
Experience with order picking, load & unload operations, and packaging techniques
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Experience in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
Ability to lift 50lbs
Forklift License
