What You Will Do
Create a positive customer experience by responding to parts inquiries promptly, accurately, and courteously.
Identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and promote the full line of Vermeer parts and related products.
Prepare quotes, process sales orders and purchase orders, and follow up on promised delivery dates.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels and support accurate, efficient inventory practices.
Receive, stock, pick, package, and ship parts; determine shipping methods and complete required documentation.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized parts facilities, displays, manuals, and parts guides.
Act as a liaison with the factory and stay current on product and parts information.
Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Sales colleagues to resolve customer needs and support branch priorities.
Operate a forklift or other material-handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods as required.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements while maintaining a professional presence.
Assist with other branch responsibilities, including duties within the Service Department, as operational needs require.

Accuracy and attention to detail when managing orders, inventory, documentation, and follow-up.

Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning dealership or inventory systems.
Mechanical aptitude and an interest in equipment, machinery, or parts.
Experience That Will Help You Succeed
Previous experience in parts, service, customer service, sales, warehousing, or distribution.
Experience in a heavy equipment, agriculture, construction, automotive, trucking, or industrial environment.
A Journeyperson or Apprentice Parts Technician designation is an asset.
Forklift experience or certification is an asset.
