Lakeport Power is a Canadian, family-owned electrical utility distributor with more than 25 years in the industry.

We?re growing our sales team and looking for an Outside Sales Representative who can develop relationships, uncover opportunities, and grow business across Ontario.

We back our sales team with strong inventory, responsive inside support, and a growing portfolio of established and exclusive product lines.

What You?ll Do

Develop new business with electric utilities, contractors, and industrial customers

Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts

Spend time in the field meeting customers, understanding upcoming projects, and identifying opportunities

Work with purchasing, engineering, stores, and field personnel to understand requirements and recommend solutions

Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales opportunities

Introduce customers to new products and alternative solutions

Stay informed on projects, market activity, competitors, and evolving customer needs

Work closely with our inside sales and operations teams to deliver responsive, reliable service

Develop strong product and industry knowledge through Lakeport training, supplier resources, and ongoing learning What We?re Looking For

A proactive person who is motivated to prospect, open doors, and develop new accounts

Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills

Independence and accountability - someone who takes ownership and pride in their role

Technical aptitude and a genuine interest in learning new products and applications

Confidence and adaptability, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of personalities, roles, and backgrounds

Previous outside sales experience; electrical distribution, utility, industrial and/or related experience is strongly preferred

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
