Job Description Forklift operator

Perform a pre-shift inspection of forklift

Operate loading equipment following all safety procedures

Report any equipment malfunctions to maintenance or shipping supervisor

Monitor quality of material and product being handled and report any deficiencies

Load Out bound trucks for deliveries

Unload inbound trucks (raw material)

Ensure that all material is stored in appropriate/designated storage areas

Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety, as applicable

Education and

Previous manufacturing experience is an asset but not a requirement

Forklift certification

Demonstrate ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently

Team player, strong interpersonal skills, able to work independantly
