procurement officer
Duties
Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services, develop specifications, negotiate offers, and review quotations. Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics while consulting with suppliers and clients to resolve problems.
Hard requirements
- Other trades certificate or diploma, equivalent experience, Business administration and management, general, or Purchasing, procurement/acquisitions and contracts management
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in business sales and services
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment under pressure with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and organized with strong time management skills
- Own transportation
