plumber apprentice
Duties
Plumbers read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, locate positions for connections, cut openings in walls and floors, join pipes using various methods, test for leaks, and determine piping requirements.
Hard requirements
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years experience
- First Aid Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Level one apprenticeship training
- Level two apprenticeship training
- Level three apprenticeship training
- Level four apprenticeship training
- Valid driver's licence
