apiary technician
Duties
Maintain bee yards and equipment, work with honey bees to detect diseases, and manage colonies for honey and pollination production. Harvest, extract, and package honey and beeswax using automated extractors in a rural, outdoor environment.
Hard requirements
- 2 years to less than 3 years of apiary and honey harvesting experience
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Own transportation and valid driver's licence
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Excellent oral communication, organized, team player, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, reliability, quick learner
Pay & benefits
