Duties
The Director, Global Transaction Banking (GTB) - Strategy, Analytics & Client Solutions shapes and executes GTB strategy within National Bank of Canada Capital Markets as a trusted advisor to leadership and clients. You will translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes by leveraging analytics, market intelligence, and client insights to drive growth and profitability.
Hard requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Transaction Banking, Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, Corporate Treasury, Strategy, Corporate Development, Consulting, or a related financial services discipline.
- Strong understanding of transaction banking products and services, including cash management, liquidity solutions, deposits, and treasury management.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale initiatives and driving execution within complex organizations.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex challenges into clear recommendations and actionable plans.
- Experience leveraging data, analytics, and market insights to influence business decisions and drive measurable outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, build consensus, and operate effectively within a matrix environment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, project leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written.
