Consultant, international trade compliance (hybrid)

Duties
The Consultant, International Trade Compliance ensures import/export compliance with government agencies like CBSA, Health Canada, USCBP, and FDA while managing global shipment operations and maintaining trade databases.
Hard requirements
  • College or University graduate in a related Logistics discipline preferred
  • 5 or more years industry experience (Pharma/FMCG/Coldchain) in trade and customs compliance
  • Working knowledge of USMCA and other trade legislation, agreements and regulations
  • Working knowledge of Canadian Customs and US Customs compliance rules and regulations
  • CCS or P.Log designation preferred
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships with other areas of the business
  • Ability to manage and handle multiple projects at once, self-starter and go-getter
Pay & benefits
  • Hiring range is $55,138.14 to $77,193.40 CAD per year
