Consultant, international trade compliance (hybrid)
Duties
The Consultant, International Trade Compliance ensures import/export compliance with government agencies like CBSA, Health Canada, USCBP, and FDA while managing global shipment operations and maintaining trade databases.
Hard requirements
- College or University graduate in a related Logistics discipline preferred
- 5 or more years industry experience (Pharma/FMCG/Coldchain) in trade and customs compliance
- Working knowledge of USMCA and other trade legislation, agreements and regulations
- Working knowledge of Canadian Customs and US Customs compliance rules and regulations
- CCS or P.Log designation preferred
- Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships with other areas of the business
- Ability to manage and handle multiple projects at once, self-starter and go-getter
Pay & benefits
- Hiring range is $55,138.14 to $77,193.40 CAD per year
