Hard requirements
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Knowledge of hospital housekeeping policy and procedures
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting in health care environment
- Customer service experience
- Leadership experience such as working leader, shift lead, trainer or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive movements
- Physically capable to lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders/step stools, squat, bend, and reach in all directions
- Sufficient hand strength for repetitive wiping, wringing, and gripping
- Must read, write, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Dependable, cooperative, with a customer service attitude and able to work with minimal supervision
Work format
- Shift schedules may include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts
- Work is completed with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Location: High River General Hospital, High River (68 km south of Calgary)
