Job description
Win-Shield Devices is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to establish and scale manufacturing processes for new products, bridging the gap between R&D and full-scale production. The role involves designing assembly processes, sourcing capital equipment, and building jigs and fixtures for prototypes and production runs.
Hard requirements
- Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a degree in a similar field or equivalent experience
- Experience with 3D CAD for tooling, jig, and fixture design
- Experience with drafting engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of tolerancing and Design for Manufacturing (e.g. CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.)
- Hands-on experience working with hand/power tools and assembly
- 2+ years of direct experience working on manufacturing equipment
- Due to the nature of this position and security requirements, only applications from Canadian citizens or permanent residents will be considered
Pay & benefits
- $70,000 + (based on experience) per year
