apiary technician
Duties
Manage bee farm operations including apiary maintenance, honey harvesting, and colony management for production and pollination.
Hard requirements
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience - Apiary and honey harvesting experience - Ability to detect bee diseases and treat bees with antibiotics - Experience operating a farm truck and forklift - No degree, certificate or diploma required
Pay & benefits
- $20–$20/hr
Work format
- On site work only, no remote option - Work in outdoor environment that is dusty, hot, noisy, odorous, wet/damp, and dirty - Physically demanding with heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and extended standing/walking - Staff accommodation available
