public works labourer
Duties
Perform highway maintenance and construction work, including operating light construction equipment and one-person plows to ensure road safety through plowing and placing sand and salt.
Hard requirements
- Completion of grade ten (10)
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the operation of heavy construction equipment
- Valid Class 3 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick with endorsement for air brakes
- Written and spoken competence in French is required
Pay & benefits
- Operation Worker I: $26.87 per hour, based on a 40- hour week
