Duties
Welders interpret specifications and blueprints to operate welding, cutting, and lifting equipment for fabricating or repairing metal parts. They examine welds to ensure they meet standards and maintain their tools.
Hard requirements
- Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Own transportation and vehicle
- Tools and welding helmet
