Duties
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment and robotic production lines to fabricate or repair metal parts in an industrial manufacturing setting. Interpret welding specifications, blueprints, and drawings while examining welds to ensure they meet standards.
Hard requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Pressure Welding Certification
- Experience with stainless steel materials
- Knowledge of SMAW, GTAW (TIG), and GMAW welding techniques
- Experience with arc and gas welding machines
