Duties
Welders interpret specifications and blueprints to operate welding, cutting, and metal shaping equipment for fabrication and repair in an industrial setting.
Hard requirements
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- English or French language proficiency
- Experience with aluminum alloys and stainless steel
- Experience with SMAW, MIG, arc welding, brazing, resistance welding, gas welding, soldering, and spot welding machines
- Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
- Possession of steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
Pay & benefits
