The Software Developer/Engineer will develop and maintain mobile applications for RAD's intelligent torque systems, focusing on user experience while contributing to backend services, cloud systems, APIs, and internal tools. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create reliable software solutions connecting products and customers globally.
Hard requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android using frameworks such as React Native, Xamarin/.NET MAUI, Flutter, Native iOS, and Native Android.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mobile architecture patterns, RESTful API integration, local data storage, synchronization, offline capabilities, and deployment.
- Experience creating responsive, user-focused interfaces and developing wireframes, user flows, and prototypes using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Experience developing desktop and web applications with exposure to cross-platform frameworks.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design, authentication, distributed architectures, and cloud service integrations.
- Experience working with SQL databases, database design, data synchronization, and offline-first applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, including containerized environments, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, secure development practices, testing methodologies, source control, software architecture, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
