Warehouseman/woman
Duties
Work in a warehouse or retail/wholesale establishment to build pallets, load and unload products, operate equipment, pick orders, and maintain inventory. The role requires providing customer service and handling goods in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment at heights.
Hard requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Bondable with criminal record check and driving record check (abstract)
- Ability to handle heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Physical capabilities including manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, bending, crouching, kneeling, and combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Experience with dollies, hand trucks, strapping machines, industrial lift trucks, fork-lifts, and pallet lifters
- Ability to organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems
