The Continuous Improvement Engineer analyzes business processes and implements improvement initiatives across aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain activities.
Hard requirements
- Professional Industrial Engineer or similar with applicable work experience
- Training and experience in process improvement techniques such as lean manufacturing, six sigma, and continuous improvement
- Strong change management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven track record implementing change
- Ability to successfully work and communicate with all levels of employees and management
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies
- Fully comply with Federal Health and Safety Legislation
- Participate in Continuous Improvement, Lean & 6S activities
- Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian Government Security Clearances
Pay & benefits
- $29–$75/hr
