Duties
GrizzlyTrek seeks a Shutdown Supervisor to lead two or more high pressure water and vacuum crews on a major oil sands shutdown in northern Alberta. The role involves supervising tank cleaning operations, ensuring safety standards, and acting as the client's point of contact.
Hard requirements
  • 5+ years in industrial cleaning, high pressure water, and vacuum services
  • 2+ years supervising crews
  • Proven experience running two or more crews during a shutdown or turnaround
  • Hands-on operation of high pressure pumps (10,000 to 40,000 PSI) and vacuum units
  • Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot pumps, hoses, and tooling
  • Working knowledge of FLHAs and job safety analyses
  • Confined space entry, lockout and tagout, and work permits experience
  • Clean shaven for respirator fit testing
  • CSO, or CSTS-09 combined with OSSA Regional or BSO
  • H2S Alive, Standard First Aid with CPR, Confined Space Entry and Monitor, and Fall Protection
  • Valid Class 5 licence with a clean driver abstract
Pay & benefits
  • $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Overtime paid after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week
