Duties
GrizzlyTrek seeks a Shutdown Supervisor to lead two or more high pressure water and vacuum crews on a major oil sands shutdown in northern Alberta. The role involves supervising tank cleaning operations, ensuring safety standards, and acting as the client's point of contact.
Hard requirements
- 5+ years in industrial cleaning, high pressure water, and vacuum services
- 2+ years supervising crews
- Proven experience running two or more crews during a shutdown or turnaround
- Hands-on operation of high pressure pumps (10,000 to 40,000 PSI) and vacuum units
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot pumps, hoses, and tooling
- Working knowledge of FLHAs and job safety analyses
- Confined space entry, lockout and tagout, and work permits experience
- Clean shaven for respirator fit testing
- CSO, or CSTS-09 combined with OSSA Regional or BSO
- H2S Alive, Standard First Aid with CPR, Confined Space Entry and Monitor, and Fall Protection
- Valid Class 5 licence with a clean driver abstract
Pay & benefits
- $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime paid after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week
