sod laying labourer
Duties
Landscape worker responsible for laying sod or seeding and operating landscape maintenance equipment in outdoor environments.
Hard requirements
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Experience with sod cutters and planting equipment
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
- Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
Pay & benefits
- $18/hr
Work format
- On site only; no remote option
- Rural area or remote location
- Outdoor work environment including confined spaces, wet/damp, noisy, odours, cold/refrigerated, dusty, and hot conditions
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
