Project Coordinator

Duties
The Project Coordinator works with the community nurse to lead the development and delivery of chronic illness clinics, health education, and promotion programs for Red River Métis Citizens.
Hard requirements
  • Baccalaureate Nursing degree or related Master's-level coursework (e.g., Epidemiology, Community Development, Community Nursing)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant experience in public health, primary health care, population health promotion, or community development; or completion of an undergraduate practicum in Public Health
  • Experience with quantitative/qualitative and community-based research methods
  • Experience coordinating health research projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to travel, valid Manitoba Driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle is essential
