Job Developer - Etobicoke

Duties
The Job Developer manages job development and placement for the Integrated Employment Services program, including employer outreach, organizing hiring events, and supporting clients in securing sustainable employment.
Hard requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field
  • At least three (3) years experience working in job development or a combination of experience and education that fulfills the requirements
  • Strong knowledge of local economic and labor market conditions and trends
  • Effective techniques for contacting potential employers
  • Strong organizational skills to manage large caseload, data, and reporting
  • Knowledge of immigration and refugee services and of the ethno-specific programs and services within the GTA
  • Experience in marketing of program and services
  • Familiarity with issues facing newcomers in Canadian urban setting and systemic barriers facing integration
  • Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules on an as needed basis
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Work format
  • 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays
  • In-person services at Bloor St W, Etobicoke office location
