Outreach Coordinator
Duties
Actua seeks an operational lead to coordinate STEM learning experiences across Canada, supporting seasonal instructors and managing program logistics for northern and Indigenous communities. This full-time permanent role reports to the Director of Outreach and involves hybrid work with some travel.
Hard requirements
- Undergraduate degree in education, STEM, Indigenous studies, or event management
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience in program coordination, complex travel planning, and financial tracking
- Proven experience recruiting, training, supervising, and mentoring teams or seasonal staff
- Experience working respectfully with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit partners
- Familiarity with logistical realities of rural, remote, and Northern/Arctic communities
- Bilingualism (French/English or Inuktitut/English) is an asset
Pay & benefits
- Annual base salary range: $62,000 - $77,000
