plastic-film extrusion machine operator
Duties
Set up and operate calender and extruding machines to transform plastic into sheets or films, weigh resins and chemicals, and troubleshoot equipment.
Hard requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years experience
- Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye co-ordination
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organized, efficient interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask
