Duties
Municipal government workers clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads, and public grounds, including spreading sand or salt for snow/ice control, collecting refuse, and performing routine equipment maintenance.
Hard requirements
- Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience in flagging and traffic control
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive motions
- Capacity to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Personal suitability traits: dependability, excellent oral communication, judgement, and team player skills
